July 2014, Crawley, Sussex:
‘The Hunted’ Zombie Survival – blood curdling new experience at Tulleys Farm
by Sussex PR agency Media Word Waves
Tulleys Farm – home of the highly popular and award winning ‘Shocktober Fest’ Halloween attraction is now taking bookings for the launch of a brand new themed concept which they have called ‘The Hunted Zombie Survival’. The mission is to survive a deadly virus and infected zombies; and the first mission takes place on 16th August.
The event is a live and immersive three hour endurance assignment covering over 150 acres of the site. Participants will be part of a military operation to mobilise, withstand and stay alive in a highly contaminated and infected area.
Those that dare will be split into teams and required to complete a series of missions to help create an anti-virus, whilst avoiding infected zombies and maintaining the health of the group. If teams survive the ordeal, a reward of a barbecue will be available along with the option to camp for the evening in the woods and participate in an additional ‘secret torch light mission’.
Due to the ‘spine-tingling’ nature of the event a minimum age of 16 has been set. Packages start at £35pp through to a fully inclusive option that includes full battle pack and flash grenades at £85pp.
Participants can book individually or in a group of four to become part of the mission. Alternatively individuals can apply to become a zombie for the evening with full training given during the day.
Stuart Beare, managing director of Tulleys Farm, said “Following the success and track record of our annual ‘Shocktober Fest’ our visitors have been urging us to create other themed events – hence ‘The Hunted’ was born”.
Tulleys Farm has been playing host to ‘Shocktober Fest’ for the past 15 years and remains possibly the most popular Halloween attraction in the UK with thousands of visitors travelling far and wide from across the South East and beyond every year to experience the terror and drama that is created by a series of interactive and immersive scare experiences.
Demand already expressed and tickets sold thus far for ‘The Hunted’ and requests from a more mature audience in the region have led to an additional event planned for 18th August aimed at corporate bookings. Prices are £60pp. For more information please visit http://www.zombieevent.co.uk
