New BLOC Hotel at Gatwick Airport passes stern test

Crawley Marketing Sussex May 2014, Crawley, Sussex Sussex Marketing Crawley Gatwick Airport’s newest hotel has triumphed after passing one of the toughest tests it’s ever likely to face – from a guest who has travelled the world by air.

The 245-bed BLOC Gatwick opened at the end of March to acclaim from Business and Innovation Minister Michael Fallon, who voiced during a visit earlier that month. “It will make such a difference,” he said; “rather than having to set off at 5.00am or stay at a hotel 30 minutes away, guests will be able to have a decent night’s sleep and step straight into departures.”

The innovative building allows guests to control every function in their room with a smart phone or tablet - from unlocking the door, operating the blinds, dimming the lights and changing the air temperature to operating the HD TV and even paying the bill and checking out.

Accidents and injuries at work - be properly advised when preparing to claim

Brighton Marketing September 2013, Horsham, Sussex Sussex PR Workplace accidents are common and if compensation is claimed, the employer’s insurer or solicitor, rather than the employer himself will handle it. Most claims are settled before they reach court and even if the matter is contested, the court process should not deter those with a genuine claim.

Any claim though must be brought within three years of the accident or for a child, by the time they are 21.

To ensure that you are properly advised and prepared when bringing a claim, it is wise to speak to a specialist solicitor who can guide you through the claims process and deal with insurers on your behalf.
